Rotowire
Edwards signed a two-way contract with the Timberwolves, Charlie Walton of CanisHoopus.com reports.
Edwards is a 7-footer with NBA size who could eventually make an impact on a professional roster. The 24-year-old averaged 15.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and 1.2 assists with West Virginia last season.

Timberwolves' Luka Garza: Returning to Minnesota
Rotowire
Garza and the Timberwolves agreed to a two-year deal Monday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Specifics of the deal are currently unknown, but this is likely a cap-friendly deal for the Timberwolves. Garza was used sparingly last season, appearing in 25 regular-season games with averages of 4.0 points and 1.2 rebounds. With Rudy Gobert, Karl-Anthony Towns and Naz Reid leading the frontcourt, Garza figures to be an end-of-bench depth piece again in 2024-25.

Timberwolves' Josh Minott: Staying in Minnesota in 2024-25
Rotowire
Minott's $2.02 million contract for the 2024-25 season became fully guaranteed Friday, Dane Moore of 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast' reports.
Minott has logged just 47 appearances with Minnesota through his first two seasons in the professional ranks, but he's posted impressive numbers with the G League's Iowa Wolves and is still viewed as a promising developmental piece for the organization. Though the Timberwolves are keeping him in the fold for the 2024-25 campaign, Minott may not be assured a larger role during the upcoming season. Reserves Kyle Anderson, Monte Morris and Jordan McLaughlin are the lone Timberwolves rotation players from this past season scheduled for free agency, and Minnesota may have already found some replacements in first-round draft picks Rob Dillingham and Terrence Shannon.

Timberwolves' Terrence Shannon: Drafted by Minnesota at No. 27
Rotowire
Shannon was selected by the Timberwolves with the 27th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
As a five-year college player at Illinois, Shannon comes into the league at nearly 24 years old. However, he carries with him notable accolades from last season, including first-team All-Big Ten and third-team All-American. The 6-foot-6 wing is a strong defender and a crafty scorer who can fill it up in a variety of ways, though he especially thrives in transition. As a rookie, Shannon will fight for reserve minutes with players like Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Kyle Anderson and fellow rookie Rob Dillingham.
